    Think you might be grasping at straws. Iran's on the ropes and the locals are buying USD not gold. Not so long ago even the Iranian gubbermint mullahs were importing USD to prop up their failing state.

    I would love US$1 for every time I've seen that statement here, and has it happened? No!

    And it won't. All that's happened is we have a new generation of goldbugs who can't weren't around in 1980 and who've been attending the Jim Sinclair School of Economics.
