kingpins, what's worse is that we have become so inured to it, that WE don't bat an eyelid any more.

We expect them to lie. Why wouldn't they lie? They think that if they tell the truth, they would be voted out.

One day we might get a statesman to vote for. The pollies will be amazed that someone can stand up for the truth, be honest about the bad stuff and people are stupid enough to vote for them! Can't wait.
