Nice action on the Gold and Silver price so far today: Gold now: $1,792.00 in my time zone.

QE to Infinity and beyond does not cause inflation apparently, not an argument I would wish to put forward to an angry, hungry mob in the Middle East these days.

I find it funny that people have faith in the various financial policemen and regulators even after the many things we have witness these last few years: Gold and Silver margin hikes, Enron, Lehman Brothers, AIG to name but a few.

Maybe it’s just like me sitting at the bar in Las Vegas making a comment to my new Fire Chief mate Jim. You see all those people feeding the slot machines are given a couple of bar vouchers to go and have a drink whilst they maintain the machine. Yes he replied. I then said one may wonder why they continue to play those computer controlled machines when the guys only ever empty them of coins, bag them up, load them onto their cart and take them off to the strong room. I casually mentioned that you don’t see them coming out and filling the machines up with coins. He said your right I never noticed that either. Funny world I guess.
