Obviously & some people will have suffered badly holding various gold stocks. However not everyone holds, some trade & the volatility in gold stocks has also created some great opportunities. After the first gold slam & break to $1180 I went big into gold stocks & have done very well.

I would much rather be buying a stock that is valued under asset backing than something that has multiples sometimes double digit! However you obviously need to be selective as there have been some horribly run gold companies out there as well.
