a long time ago, i was involved with a syndicate, that mined a high grade orebody - so this is just a general comment. the ore was rich - 1 oz to the tonne. however, the ore would, at times be barren. the problem, was that the orebody, though rich, was relatively narrow. things worked fine, while the local state battery functioned. it was very cheap to put the ore through the battery , but the battery closed down, and the syndicate brought in a larger organization. a mill was erected - and that was the end of the project. costs blew out etc etc etc
happy punting, but i tend to steer clear of situations like this. keep in mind however, that the hill 50 mine, in mt magnet, had been operated for a a long time - as a modest operation. in the fullness of time, it transpired that the hill 50 mine, was a huge orebody,
