    So that would mean that gold would have to go up at least 10% per year for it to be worth while!

    Very silly!

    If you must buy gold on the margin at least get a producing gold miner that has a high yield!

    If gold corrects the last thing you want to be doing is selling because you have a margin call, when you should be buying more!
