"GOLD" is the four letter code for the ASX.
Each share/unit is supposed to represent 1/10th of an ounce.

This would be the easiest way if you wanted a quick trade if you fancy you can pick the swings.
Personally I would buy physical and take delivery. A 1 kg bar is only the size of a new slimline mobile phone. A 5 ounce bar is no bigger then the "enter" key on your keyboard.
If you can't find a secure place for bars this size in your average home, then you have no imagination :-)
You could store it at a bank etc, just remember that they have the keys, not you.
