gold- buyer and seller spread

    Always intrigues me when the buyer and seller spread gets so large like gold currently with $1.50 being the difference of whats offered to buy and sell. Does this represent a strong prospect of a rally or a sudden fall with two different camps so vehemently supporting their argument?

    Is this when the bears and the bulls really attempt to "bluff" the other side to win acceptance. I think so.

    Interesting pschology anyway.
