Of course as part of the manipulation HUI gold stocks were not allowed to roar ahead, with the HUI actually falling 2 points to 365.

But have a look at these price rises last night.

Copper up 3.84%
Nickel 3.68%
Aluminium 6.40%
Zinc 2.82%
Lead 4.53%

Those are the sorts of rises you get in a market where where every dollar rise is not fought tooth and nail with naked paper shorting.

In an honest society gold price manipulators would be prosecuted and thrown into gaol; those in a regulatory position who failed to carry out the word of law and allowed blatant manipulations to carry on would also be prosecuted and thrown into gaol.
