Well there has been the GFC which has put a spanner in the works.
Purchasing aircraft isn't like going to the Perth Mint to make your fortune, it requires years of planning and you better not get it wrong.
Boeing and Airbus are planning decades ahead so they're can't be aware that a major financial catastrophe is on the radar, perhaps you could be kind enough to let them know that they're wasting their time and should be buying gold.
Might be time for George to throw in the towel Andy, his foray into Facebook isn't looking too flash, FB down 50% in 3 months, while the S&P500, is up 10% in the last 3 months.
What do you reckon his hedge fund customers will make of that blunder?
