I think trying to call the gold price on a daily basis is a complete waste of time.
Also the performance of gold stocks today was more to do with their percieved weakness relative to the POG over the last month or so. ie POG caught up with price of gold stocks not the other way around.

In saying that local bottoms could be near.
(Depends on technical support of POG and with me that's a wait and see before I buy more gold stocks)
