Hey Silsol,

I live on the Gold Coast too but i think the recent upgrade along the foreshore at Surfers just south of the road crossing near McDonalds has far too much concrete and not enough trees or shade. Its only recently been opened and in summer when the hot sun comes out thats going to be baking. Needs more shade.

As for the light rail, i reckon its a waste of money and poorly thought out. Funny thing is that on all the promotional pictures i have seen they dont show the over head wires that are required for powering the trams, obviously because they are ugly...............would have preferred a mono rail that was raised above the traffic, would have been quieter and looked more modern.
