Thanks Shady - I have now read both. It seems the Fortnum plant will take longer than expected ... they are still getting quotes to bring it online.

Well, do remember that RNI had to first pay back $20m in debt to Taurus, and then raise $20m to refurbish the plant, and then need some cash to get up and running ... so say $60m ... and all they could ever come up with was about $20m (to repay the debt), partly because no-one wanted to fund anything with Taurus hovering around like the grim reaper in the background. Also bear in mind that when RNI was doing their NPV modelling etc, that gold price at best was around A$1550 or A$1600 ... and those NPV models started to sing at A$1600 and up. BINGO - We are now above A$1700, so MLX should be sitting in the sweet spot here.
