I hold none of these. I held PRE for a long time and it has gone nowhere.
I have bought too many lottery tickets from the ASXCasino without any success.
These may be OK for trading, but I do not know how to read charts so trading is out for me. It seems a bit like buying into pure (or almost pure) oil explorers (some of which have a little cash and cashflow). On the whole these have not done much in 2009, and some have gone backwards.
Early last year we did a bit of a think about which goldies to get into. The best idea was to look at goldies about to go into production or had recently gone into production, with sensible grades and cash. On the whole these have done well (at least the ones I picked overall did OK).
I prefer to stick with goldies that meet the criteria we selected last year. The tiny speccies can and do have major capital dilutions to water down what little value each share has. Some of them could be good bets if you know a bit about their background (eg have inside information). I think the best time to buy into them is once the larger goldies have taken off due to a significant gold price rise.
So unless someone gives me some special insight into the nano goldies, I am keeping away from them. The market is sufficiently difficult and could get more so over the next 12 months.
