I can appreciate your concern regarding the stagnant share price. I think that view is widely shared amongst share holders. The primary road block here is one of the directors, who's apparently looking to retire, wants to cash in his "nest egg" of BCD shares. Once a buyer is found (whether on/off market) there will be enormous capacity to see significant growth in this stock.

The reasons for significant growth are many but just to name a few - they include the fact that BCD unlike any other penny stock out there is:

    (A) a gold PRODUCER,

    (B) has a very low market cap (~9.4M),

    (C) trading below cash backing - accordingly latest asx release ~$11.4M cash and equiv.,

    (D) hold high value assets, eg. relocatable Processing Mill valued ~$60M, three significant quantities of gold tailing (previous conservative estimates on returns ~$60M+), large & highly prospective Copper / Gold deposits within 6 tenements (insitu value around $500M),

    (E) a rising gold commodity price underpinning ongoing profitability and company performance,

    F, G, H,... and so forth...

In regards to your comments on dividends, spec stocks very rarely provide dividends, as they are generally at an early stage of growth, and consequently any profits made are better re-invested to expedite growth. If its dividends you seek, may I suggest you sift through the top ASX200 to select stocks oriented towards an income growth strategy - there's plenty relevant stocks within a range of sectors; namely banking, industrial, pharma/biotech, energy & mining, etc.

Regarding your comments referring to the Vic Copper/Gold prospects, BCD will be in a very strong financial position to develop this resource with funds derived from processing their gold tailings. IMO I don't think a capital raising would even be considered a factor here, although you never know directions and plans change anytime down the line. Additionally, you mentioned "There needs to be a clear vision to profitability..." - reading through recent ASX announcements may help you put the big picture together. They are already making a profit. Well informed posters here such as HotRods65 and Moorpett have discussed this a length in the past, and are probably in better positions to comment further.

You are holding onto a winner here my friend - it's really just a case of being patient and in time it will pay off very handsomely indeed. The potential here is underscored by the relatively large and recent on-market share acquisitions by onshore and overseas Funds (eg. Aug 2012 - Globex Holdings). Preview recent historic volumes and you'll find days where over 60 - 70 million shares have been traded/acquired in one day alone.

You may sell you shares now but later you (or dare I say it, your wife) may also kick your behind for doing so! ;-) Gold luck mate.

    Cheers,
    Sagitar

Nb. Underpinning BCD's current and future performance will be the gold price – attached is a follow-up chart showing where gold is heading, with horizontal support / resistance points highlighted in blue / orange. Long term diagonal support / resistance highlighted in dark blue / red. She's a cracker!
