I am not sure why you anguish so much with your gold thoughts.

Gold works for me and obviously many others here on this site but it maybe is not a panacea for everything and everyone.

Why not buy some arable land and plant a few tomatoes or some such at least this way you will not be 100% wrong!

I do not wish to be responsible for advising any person to go in any particular way the land is just a suggestion. But I would feel bad if I ever talked anyone out of what could be the investment of this century.

Its terrific that we all have different point of views and I am pleased that you express them but in this case I fail to see your intended aim. If you are trying to get me to sell my gold in panic your time would be better spent with the tomatoes.
