First, thanks to all those invaluable contributions from those with geology knowledge on this forum. Greatly appreciated.
Just wondering if anyone can outline the basic difference in resource (g/t Au) when differing cut-off grades are used by company. For example, I have been doing some research on CVR, and using my somewhat crude calculations based on resources, it looks like a buy. However, I note that the cut-off grade they have used is 0.2 g/t Au, which compared to other companies, seems rather low. Is there any reason for this, and does this sway the amount of resources stated as much more than a company which uses a cut-off grade of 0.7 g/t Au, such as MYG for example?
Thanks in advance
