Here is a link that supports my original contention that the Cancet Property has excellent gold discovery potential. And yes indeed it is fortuitous (in the best sense of the word) that the Cancet Property happens to also have the right geology for gold, as has been proven by the recent massive nearby Mythril gold-copper-zinc-silver-molybdenum discovery. In map Figure 2 of this new press release (linked) by a large Quebec junior, note the dark blue area at far west (left) with the word "Lithium". That is the location of the Cancet lithium deposit. The maps included in the news release show Cancet in the west and the Mythril gold discovery in the east. The Cancet Property is not identified on the map but it extends from the "blue lithium" area in the west to about halfway to the location of the Mythril discovery. The Mythril discovery was made by Midland Explorations late last year and BHP Billiton has recently taken a large position in Midland. A drilling program has been underway for several weeks now and assay results will be announced (as per a May 1 news release by Midland, link below) in mid-May. If the results are as spectacular as surface indications suggest, then this region will become a major focus of exploration in Canada. As you will hear in the linked YouTube Video (audio, actually), the discovery may be the most important in Canada in many years. The audio is presented by one of Canada's best known mining journalists and should be listened to by all MetalsTech shareholders who are keeping their fingers crossed for a big win (with gold as it turns out, if not lithium).
