    Hey ad,

    Good advice, but I don't have much hope for the AUD. For me, if the USD is going to drop again, the AUD will be dropping further. I think that the USD has much better prospects than the aussie. It is still seen as a safe haven, whereas the AUD is seen as a currency during growth.

    I heard that the long term average for the aussie was 72c or there abouts, so we are not too far below that, but there is still a lot of down side; interest rate cuts, slowing world growth.

    Whereas a couple of months ago, we could wake up and find gold shot to pieces and the AUD pushing new highs, that scenario is getting less and less likely.

    But just a few thoughts.
