Let's hope Santos (STO) had it right with the Winchester Joint Venture (Santos 75% / Octanex 25%) when STO pulled the pin and surrounded the permit, but surely Winchester was "stranded gas" (and possibly goodness only knows what was down deeper into the structure). Supposedly STO gave Winchester up because it would not have been commercial within 15 years. Maybe the STO thinking has changed somewhat now?
For our sake, let's hope the working relationship is still strong or at least "Uncle Geoff" and Rae are working on it. IMHO DYOR
