River, Perhaps Rae could find some time to organize someone to update the OXX website. It is sooooo out of date it is terribly misleading. There is an legal obligation to have correct and current information shown on the website. But there again what does $210k get you these days? Obviously not much. OXX is now a multifaceted company (oil, gas and gold) and should be being promoted as such.
Why no fight re Ophir? No money to fight it? Plenty of big no win no cost lawyers out there. Ok it was a Risk Service Contract (RSC) but the risk surely wasn't in terms of what oil lie beneath. The contract was the around the 6 million barrels of oil to be delivered. If it was known there was only a cup full of oil, there would have been no contract. Talk about being mislead, so it opens up the case for recovery of damages and compensation for lost profit. It would teach Petronas a lesson or two to be more careful. IMHO DYOR
