It has worked out quite well for the pollies. Downturn in the economy was coming anyway with Covid as the perfect excuse. More control over the public in general, with the government claiming to be the ultimate saviours, and their super on the up. Anyway, I'm not complaining, still with a roof over my head. Most people here would also have some spare cash to play the ASX casino.
