You are correct referring to the fallout during the GFC.
This Bloomberg story shows just how afraid the bankers are, referring the current crisis to "worse than Lehmans".
It is well also to remember that when hedge funds have to meet margin calls, they tend to sell their best performing and this year it has been gold.
