Basel III could definitely be a wildcard. The tier 1 capital pool has to expand in some way, ie through significant CR (Euro bank shares, anyone?) or something like bullion.
Re POG, let's see how the weekly and monthly charts play out. Although the momentum break looks a little bit like back in 2008! We shall see.
