Hi cyw,

My contact on matters Chinese is looking for gold in Mongolia as I type.

I am not an authority on the matter but it is my impression that some guys from Sino Gold had the original idea and vetted the China deposit and called in Macquarie Bank to finance it.

Archipeligo has been contacted by APG in a similar fashion to act as banker.
Probably there is a historical association between the APG & AR directors (when they were field type exploration geologists say )
Archilepigo is not a tin pot company.
They have marshaled capital to date and spent $100 million in Indonesia............according to their announcements.

The current ARCHIPELIGO predicament would take the focus off spending money in China I imagine.
APG appears to be the driver of the deal..........so APG may seek a new partner.......
THIS IS ALL CONJECTURE......not to much emphasis should be placed on it !
