Four EaglesTwo diamond drill rigs and one RC drill rig are operating at Boyd’s Dam and Boyd North since December 2020
At Boyd North, where previous drilling was limited to the top 100 metres, two diamond drill holes FEDD049 and FEDD052, 100 metres apart, have intersected a strong structure with quartz veining, arsenopyrite and
visible gold at 347 metres and 338 metres down hole respectively.
Although no assays are yet available, these intersections may represent a stacked repetition of the shallow gold zone at Boyd North which is typical of many Victorian gold deposits. Eight RC drill holes have been completed with two holes reaching depths of greater than 320 metres.
No assays have yet been received.Tandarra ProjectAir core drilling resumed in December 2020 with the initial focus being on the previously demonstrated mineralisation at the southern end of the Macnaughtan and Lawry trends (Figure 5). Drilling was in progress at year-end, with
assays anticipated in the 2021 March quarter.Drummartin ProjectDrilling will continue into 2021, and
initial assay results anticipated in the March 2021 quarter.Air core and diamond drilling are in progress at the Tandarra Gold Project and a regional air core drilling program is being undertaken at the Drummartin Project north of Fosterville.
North Central Victorian Gold (NCVG) TenderCatalyst lodged tender applications for three of these blocks in partnership with GEV. The Victorian Government recently reconfirmed the results of the highly competitive
tender process is expected in March 2021. Golden CamelThey will also be continuing to drill a number of RC holes at Golden Camel, which commenced in December 2020 and that will also be completed in the 2020/21 field season.
Henty Gold MineA review of all regional geological and geophysical data has also been completed and an exploration program is planned for the exploration licence (EL28/2001) along the Henty South Fault to the south of the Henty Mine.
Underground diamond drilling will be increased to 3 rigs with 10,500 metres budgeted for pre-production areas and 28,000 metres on exploration in the mine corridor.
Dedicated underground development will be required for some of the exploration targets.
Pre-production will focus on Zone 96, Sill Zone, Mt Julia, and Darwin North, South and Central Areas (Figure 2) and
Exploration will be mostly targeted on the zone between Darwin North and Intermediate Zone adjacent to the Moa Fault (Collar Zone on Figure 4).
Lesser programs will target the down dip extensions of Zone 96 and Zone 15 as well as a small program on the Read Zone.
Routine drilling results are planned to be released approximately every three months.
