Thinking about it...
one shaft could do it...
because the three sections might gain access to the horizontal at three different levels in the shaft making contact at different distance from the shaft as the seem drops/undulates...enabling drilling of a third of the ore body ....simultaneously.
I am not an engineer and need to learn a lot more.
