Not very likely that OPEC will dump the USD at the next meeting on the 5th. It's mostly just Iran and Venezuela pressing for it. Rumour also has it that OPEC might increase output. Combined with with expectations of less demand due to recession, the oil price could take a good hit and pull gold down with it.
Either way, Wednesday has the potential to be very interesting.
