Not at all ..pull up the five year chart on kitco...look at the inflation adjusted gold price, look at the massive record US twin deficits, oil is heading for a long term upwards price correction.. then throw in some terrorism for good measure... the trend is you're friend and its going that way for at least the next 5+ years..

I rest my case.. everyone should have at least 15% gold stocks and 10% physical in their portfolio.. for my part its 30% and 65%(thru direct mine ownership) respectively.
