    So, lets just cover this off again just so I'm not having myself on - 12 hours ago (with the gold price going nowhere) the Aussie gold producers got thrashed for no apparent reason.

    And now here we are - a full 8 hours later and the gold price is tanking. Just like on the way up the really savage buying occured in the trading day prior to (but not after) major moves in the gold price.

    No, no! No point. I'm sure its just coincidental.
