    Where do you think the fundies will get exhausted enough to stop selling?

    My take on this is when they run out of shares. And they still have a lot of shares.

    And all along the way down there will be traders and speculators getting in for a quick buck who will subsequently sell if the share price falls or looks like dropping.

    This is s spiral.

    Lets not also forget about the impact of margin lending on selling pressure, although this is bound to much less of an issue than in 2008 because most of the market is doing well. If the overall market were to also fall then it would have a bigger impact.

    The downward spiral will come to an end at some point but I would not look at it as being a totally rational process. This is the GFC for goldies, nothing less.
