    But, yet again, gold fell in AU terms. Yesterday, it was A$559. Today, it closed @$557.86.

    Unless you have been buying gold in U$ terms, and then hedging for currency movements (between USD and AUD), you have either marked time, or gone backwards, throughout the rapidfire journey into U$300, and above.
