Rooted? If the IMF manage to get approval, whatever they sell will be swallowed up by the market just like all the rest of the central bank gold that has been sold.
Anyone crying "doom" over IMF sales needs to do their homework. This news did very little to stop the price when originally announced two weeks ago.
It popping back into the news today has everything to do with March COMEX gold options expiry tomorrow!
