We are in a super bubble and when it pops nothing will be spared. Massive deflationary spiral for all assets and gold will not be spared in the short term. Just look at the POG dive in March this year to get a taste of what will happen when the bubble pops. Gold luvs inflation and I'm sure we will see deflation.............. contrary to many calls from the so called experts. Thus the POG will deflate in the short term just like all assets. It just won't deflate as much as all other assets of which some will be worthless or at least near on. Time will tell and it won't be a long time to wait either IMHO.

When it all goes snap crackle and pop the explosion of the super bubble could even drive the POG down to the lows of 2015 before it eventually takes off for the next 10 year bull run. So a 10 year hold view might be okay. Not so for the next year or two though!

Gold mining stocks will lose more in value than the POG. The only reason I haven't sold ALK is because the Boda exploration results are analagous to Cadia Valley. If this proves up then ALK SP will be a lot higher in the near future regardless of bubbles popping. Most other gold stocks will take a massive hit and then some long period of time to recover. That is what I'm reckoning on anyway.

All IMHO; but the World has not seen anything like these economic conditions since the 1930s.
