The Oz tax system lets you choose what shares you sell from those that you own.
Lets say you purchased parcels of 10,000 DEG shares on ten different occasions (100,000 shares). If you sell say 10,000 shares you choose which parcel you are selling or you could show it as having sold a few from each parcel. You just need the records to prove how you have determined what you have included in your tax return.
