nothing goes up indefinitely gold included.

skols massive gold price fall might happen. if it does then I suggest that we are no where near the top. The parabolic rise required to allow the precipitous fall is still ahead of us.

I get the impression that todays levels might be the new long term floor for gold, with the dizzy heights being somewhere north of $3k..
