I'am not sure if this topic has been covered on this forum before but if appears to me that gold is reasonably stable all day until the New York Nymex market opens and then it moves violently up or down.(See Kitco Charts)
This pattern happens day after day and I think that the breakout direction of gold up or down will come from that trading period.
Why is that trading period so dominant. ???
