Not sure if its too early to call, but gold has broken through US$1,100, now at US$1,105.
(Maybe the fact that the US was on holidays last night allowed gold to trade higher - seems to me in recent times the US has been trying to support its currency most days, which has kept gold down - but then maybe thats just my cynical view of the USA!).
