Strange as it may sound - we need to start referencing that to A$ - or a new unit: the GoldDollar D$ - as all other currencies fluctuate and therefore very hard to get perspective on that statement!
U$ 2,200 sound good if A$ is back at 93c - but not good at 1.15 !!!
(have a look at the latest rise in gold coupled with a rise in the A$: in our terms gold has actually become cheaper again!)
So - as much as I like numbers those statements mean jack - as there is no context given to actually make sense of it!
(may the Yuan, since it looks improbable that China will index/float that for quite some time!)
