Yep, good 'ol Jacob, lets hope this thread is buzzing with enthusiasm and talk of a mine. I want to see it for more than one reason, I live here too and more jobs and growth would be great for the best little town in the west (until the drug dealers rode in like dodgy murderous cattle barons in a John Wayne movie). You wouldn't believe the new drug lords that have risen like Phoenix since they locked up all the millionaire drug goons recently. We have junkies with their methodone sling bags going door to door now in my street looking for entry points in broad daylight and don't give a rats when they get the "move on" orders from heavily armed neighbours because they are untouchable in the courts. I guess if a mine(s) did open here we would get a better class of people coming in for work and the consensus is the others would have to move out. But I don't subscribe to that theory because there are too many bleeding heart left wing goody goodies here providing for the hordes on social security and in social housing with no intentions of getting a job, why would they. It is so bad in one street where a new drug operation has just kicked off, they reckon it is like a McDonalds drive thru and they are cluttered on the street waiting for a vacant spot to drive in. Life is good for some eh? Oh well, Ours might improve if we get some favorable results in the next week to take away some of the gloom.
