This is all about getting some take over tension/competition between the would-be suitors imo (this is a really good sign from management that they are not going to buy into these ridiculous "low ball offers"

I hope thay continue with this approach and do not succumb to any big broker manipulation to drive the price to extreme lows and then "wave the white flag" to a ridiculous offer.

Announcing the corporate interest was smart , as it allows the market to dictate a more realistic price and help offset the big broker selldown thats going on. For an asset that is worth several billion dollars, amx's markcap is very very low.

Management have been smart and have played the cards close to the chest till now. This should flush out some decent bids in due course.
