Just looking for opinions on gold miners here in Australia. We can see that the USD looks to want to go all the way to ~90c and with that the POG in USD drops but the POG in AUD rises.
Question: are we possibly at the bottom of the value curve for our miners? From around this point could we expect goldies to actually stabilize in price if not increase?
As for US miners and gold etfs it just looks like they will become cheaper and cheaper to the point of ludicrousy from where we sit. However the exchange rate might interfere if we look at those prices in AUDs.
But our miners might look el cheapo bargains from within the US..
So it's a matter of when to move not what to move into. I'm looking at holding what I can for trading in USD (etfs etc), deliberately to take advantage of a rising dollar. Anyhow the Auzzie markets look about as fizzy as two day old coke.
