gold, not what it used to be

With the threat of nuclear strikes by by a nuclear armed pariah state such is North Korea, Money printing and a very bleak world outlook with bailouts etc, Gold should have gone through the stratosphere. It seems to me that Gold has now become de coupled from its original use as a safe haven in times of trouble. Gold is now unfortunately being traded purely as a commodity and thus gets manipulated to suit the big boys desires. Will this blow up in there faces? who knows, but at the moment it is defying gravity and is a big worry for the gold price in my eyes.
