Ok I have seen the Chinese in action but if gold fundamentals were so strong based on China, gold wouldn't have corrected like it did in 2008.
Fundamentals might change quickly but not that quickly.
Chinese seem to view gold as a novelty, they can take it or leave it. If the us dollar falls as predicted who is going to suffer and what will they sell first.
Its hard decision, buy food or sell my $20,000 of gold.
You cant tell me that keeping half a kilo mickey mouse made of gold on the mantel piece has a deep cultural meaning for the Chinese.
We cant be certain of any real outcomes but history is a good guide, its all we have.
