Also the long term chart is definitely in an uptrend as seen in the monthly chart


And the weekly chart clearly shows higher lows



Notice the last low was formed just 3 weeks ago. Looking back at the last year we find that usually gold will rise for about 5-7 weeks and then falls for about 5-7 weeks. Hopefully this time if gold were to rise for 7 weeks it will likely breach the 1000 mark.
