Hhhmmmm, poor gold recovery in oxide is unusual, especially if the conventional process flow sheets are used. All I can think of it that they are heap leach projects where coarse ore is piled up and leached without significant grinding to expose the gold NB particles. These operations typically have a lower recovery (60-75%) but operating costs are low which offsets the poor recovery.
