It may have another bottom or it may not but it will grind higher.
I also think the markets will grind down slowly going lower and lower.
Beside all the hype some people are trying to make out of this latest rise it means very little in the long run.
There is no good economic news from anywhere really. As for the US well the figures just keep getting worse and the Fed keeps spinning the news and threatening rate hikes, when most of us know it wont happen anytime soon, the growth is just not there and inflation has sunk.
As for the hype over the latest Australian budget well a &^%*(*& clown show it is from both sides.
BUDGET EMERGENCY a year ago, lost revenue all year and now the Budget is growing and Hockey wants us to believe they have the answer for a surplus, what a clown show really. Australia's deficit increased by about 40billion dollars and that is after the figures have been massaged. Io is way down, coal is way down.

So the ASX climbs higher on what, where was the good news??
Where is the good news for the US markets to go higher?
Its all a dog and pony show to get peoples money out their safe investments in Australia, a last ditch effort by a clueless government to get some money flowing when assets have been inflated to all time highs.
