So you admit that it comes up black jack if gold buggers hehe hang on long enough. Slow and steady wins the race. My only fear is how greedy I become when it goes bull. I havent asked myself how much is enough money. So to compensate I keep accumulating and will get out early with decades behind me. However, the last two years you cited, 2000 and 2008 happened fairly close in proximity to one another. It might happen sooner than expected. I am wistful that I get my holdings up substantially before it goes bull. This is the modern day version of Esop's tale, The Tortoise and the Hare. All clever hares should be in the Dax now anyways.
