warrants are more attractive... they at least take 15 years to expire and we have a good selection of american style call warrants on offer in Australia. I am concerned with being stopped out on a dip though and will wait and watch the news for a good opportunity to become sophisticated. The market has so far been desensitized to tragic events and are bullish so gold is going sideways. If I had better technical skills then perhaps I would attempt to ride a wave or two. However, I believe that this is a long term pursuit and a little nest egg that will grow when I retire. My call is 27 years.
