Don't think you were duped, this is basically a rehash of the last Gold Exploration update and the presentation from the AGM. Seems like they are just throwing something out in an attempt to maintain interest until drilling finally kicks off. Still no mention of timeframe for commencement of drilling ('exploration team is now finalising drill program'), though Q4 2017 was always a bit ambitious.
Good news is that Gold does not appear to have been factored into the price at all and we are kicking off with a priority target 2km NW and contiguous with Gold Road Resources Ibanez discovery. With the CR overhang finally dissipating this thing seems ready to run, just need that commencement of drilling announcement to get things moving.
